How To Get To This Trip
Coghlan Falls, located on the Johnson River at the upstream end of Pardoe Lake in northern Saskatchewan, is a series of hidden gem waterfalls. The falls cascade 28 meters over four major drops into Pardoe Lake. The area is ideal for hiking to view all four falls and find the best vistas. An 8 km upstream day trip offers an additional exploration to a nameless 10-meter waterfall. Pardoe Lake, characterized by beautiful sand shores and long narrow form, provides excellent base camp sites for beginning this canoeing adventure. The dramatic change in scenery near the falls, where the river plunges over granite ridges into the lake, presents an awe-inspiring sight.
